I want to build a snow only bike.
Where can I purchase them in the lower 48, If possible? I would also be interested in an alternative rim if there is such a beast. There has to be someone in the states that makes something similar.
Thanks,
Johnny

I had problems getting a snow cat rim in Europe so I got Sun double wide rims on my winter bike- they are the same width as snow cats but are quite heavy

I was looking into the same thing for a while but gave up because I didn't want to spend the extra money on the wide wheel set up.. ended up just using a regular rim etc.. but I did find these mentioned as a replacement for the hard to find snowcats...

also Surly makes one called the 'large marge' that is very wide but probably wont fit anything but their Pugsley frame...

The Sun Doublewide just may work for me they should fit on my 6700 trek? As for the brakes I shouldn't have problems with this. I will be running Hayes hydros.
Thanks guys your help is never ending.
