We just score our last mtb ride of 2005 and would like to share a couple of pics of my kid in action.

As a parent I'm real proud of how good he's riding and that my ridding buddies accept him on our rides, he's just one of the guys.

Parents, take your kids to the trails and show them hoe to ride them. Excellent memories are built on every ride and what could be better than sharing your passion with your kid.

Very nice, He looks well suited to the bike in riding position.
I'm still building my kids ATB. Might be a while before we trail together.
Summer camping I think.

4130 for my loved ones.

He looks well suited to the bike in riding position.

Now that you mention it I examined the pics more carefully and have to agree, the bike fits like a glove.

He tested last week a 13" Fisher and wants it but don't know if jumping to a 26" bike right now is a good call, he can deal with the 24" bike really well and not sure how different the 26" bike will behave.

He has been riding this bike for the last 3 years

And don't know if should wait 1 more year before jumping to 26".

Always good to see a kid enjoying riding a bike. He looks like he's having a great time!
I wish my kids could experience the carefree days of my childhood, riding all over the county with other kids, but now there are too many cars and too many dangerous people. They have, however been able to experience with me rides I never dreamed of as a kid, both on and offroad.
Here are a couple of shots of my youngest starting the new year right on the new roadbike I built up for him. It is still a tad large for him, but at the rate he is growing, that will change very soon.

Raring to go (not me in background - I'm holding the camera)

Setting a personal best time (15.8 mph avg on a 5.5 mile loop)

From one dad to another, that's great! My two boys are a little older at 13 and 17. I take them to the trails and they show me how to ride. I look forward to every ride I take with them. Enjoy your rides with him, before you know it their getting ready to graduate and move on to college.
