Hello All,

I am Shawn from Orange County, I am new yet old to biking, I was a Moutain Biker in the early 90's, and since gave it up, I am looking to get back into biking, but I would like to get me a road bike and travel more, and see the world.

I am open to the cheapest good bike on the market, I don't have a road bike now. I am looking to buy soon.

Welcome to Bike Forums.

If you want to travel I'd recommend a touring bike over a road bike.
Look through the Touring subforum for more info on a good touring setup.

I am looking for a road bike for the speed, I am going to use this for training for another sport. I like the setup that you have on the Lite Speed.

I raced MTB bikes for several years and I am all worn out on the MTB bikes, I am looking for a bike to train with for another sport.
