You must have selective hearing! They're for roadies and smart people.

Gears and brakes are where it's at.
I have the old version of those booties. Different logo and no pull tab, but the same otherwise.
Incredible in the cold stuff. I've taken them off after a 2 hour ride in 20 degree weather and the inside soles will be dripping with sweat.
Good haul.

yikes. so many problems with that statement.
i want a pair that'll fit over chucks..
me too. i hate boots. and i mainly wear chucks or similar slim profile shoes. even if it is snowing.

They're for cycing shoes, dudes. I suppose you could just wear them over boots or shoes but...no
i figured they were for cycling shoes, as i think all the booties i've seen are. that's why i said i wanted a pair that fit over chucks...cause i hate wearing boots. i guess i wasn't clear. but now that i'm thinking more about it, my chucks are slimmer than my roomies cycling shoes, i bet they'd fit.

Actually you might want a more bulky shoe with them. My Pearl Izumi MTB shoes fit really well inside. I'm thinking a shoe with a really low profile would allow for too much wiggle room.
May I suggest puting your foot inside a ziplock baggie before puing your chucks on and doubling up on socks?
yea imma try the ziplock baggies once it gets freezing. double socks don't help me much.

Well, the ziplock baggie won't make your foot any warmer, but it will block the wind. Plus 2 layers of socks for more insulation...should be toasty
awesome. i <3 bikeforums.
