Freebirds rock, I have one and it's been great. But I got it a year or 2 ago, you might want to consider going with something like the Larry Bird(Ryan Shers new signature frame), because it has integrated headset, and Mid bracket, and it's lighter. I'm sure it has the same warranty as the Freebird also(whatever that is).

You donth ave to worry about breaking the frame.. I'm sure some one will chime in about their buddy or their buddy's buddy who's frame broke.. but you should be fine. I'm 300 lbs. and I've been riding an FBM Night Train for about 2 or 3 years now I believe and it's fine. Not very related to your bike choice, but a suggestion perhaps. I dont know if the freebird has a warenty, but kink is usually cool about that stuff. If it breaks and it was not your fault, they usually will either fix it for free or cheap or get a new frame to you.

I think you guys need to find the warrany details, and post them here. None of you has a clue as to what "Lifetime Warranty*" really means.
if it doesnt get run over by a car they send you a new one

Right. That's the industry standard these days.

You'll need to show me where they state this.

No, 300. There a picture of me around here somewhere. I'm not super fat, I'm pretty tall and have alot of muscle, but yes, there is a bit of softness.
