Road Cycling - "Lycra Power" shorts from Excel

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anyone have any experience with these compression style shorts? They're advertised with a Nalini chamois. I like compression shorts for lifting, how are they for cycling?
Basically are they worth the extra $15 or so over Excel or Nashbar's "regular" 8 panel short. Btw I own a pair of Nashbar "Saturday" shorts and find them quite satisfactory.
Opinions please.....

I have several Nalini Cycling shorts, and the Chamois, is simply fantastic, and the are really great sweat absorbent....
Nothing special other that they claim to be using the new Power Lycra which is a bit stretchier than most.
Also chamois is nothing special as nearly all manufacturers buy the Nalini chamois from Moa Sport. Your standar 'y-cut' chamois.
Price may be attractive as other manufacturers are priced higher.
