General Cycling Discussion - What the heck are those sponsors??

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Maybe this is a dumb question but I'm sort of new to the sport. So everyone knows what USPS is, but what are some of those other major sponsors? I mean I see these names but I have no idea what kind of business(or whatever) these are. I assume they are mostly(all?) European. For example, ONCE, Adecco, Lotto, KELME, Telekom, Robobank, COFIDIS, DOMO, etc, etc, etc..........
Anyone know what they are???
ONCE- lottery for blind people- see the guy with stick in the jersey?
Lotto- belgian lottery
adecco- employ company
Kelme- shoes-soccer shoes
Telekom communications-cell phones,etc
Rabobank- bank
Domo-flooring
Mapei-flooring adhesives
quickstep-flooring-linolieum flooring, parquet wood,etc
Cofidis-telephone cards
mercatone uno is a grocery chain
I banesto- bank
saeco- cappicino machines
thats all I can think of at the moment
Cinzano-makers of all things alcoholic

I like finding out what some of the sponsors are. Some are easy to guess, like Telefonica who sponsor the Vuelta Espana, and Esta The (Giro Italia). But there are others:
Wurth- Hardware
Dymo- Office equipment
Correos- Spanish mail service
Feldschlosschen - Swiss Brewery, sponsors Tour of Switzerland
Hey that's cool. I think there was a pic floating around of a Dekker ad in a bank lobby (Rabobank, of course!).
I always thought Credit Agricole was an agricultural bank! Don't they have a wheat stalk in their logo?

CSC is an information technology consulting company--one of my friends works there.

I work there (csc) and I guess that is what we do!

La Redoute is a catalogue company that sells clothes, I gather it's like J Crew. Coast is sort of like Gap. So is Gas, who used to sponsor an italian women's team.
New Holland makes farm and construction equipment.
