Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

They're the best most awesome cycling boot ever. Warm, toasty, waterproof, and with this awesome ratcheting mechanism for tightening them instead of laces. They're even almost wide enough for my feet!
I got a pair for christmas :D.

I just got a pair too, so far they are very nice, but I have similar thoughts about the sizing. They're pretty snug, which strikes me as exactly the opposit of what you'd want in a winter boot. They're also slightly narrower than other bike shoes I have in the same size, which seems to run counter to Lake's reputation. The good news is they are made from soft leather, which seems to be stretching as they get worn in and the fit seems to be improving.
