Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I attached Time cleats to Sidi shoes using the metal plate that comes with the shoes. The front cleat screws are tightened down but the front cleats are still a bit loose. The rear cleats are tight. Is this normal with this combination?
Are they loose because the screw is too long and don't seat tight? If this is the case attempt to grind them down (shorten) w/something like a Dremmel tool. Be sure to clean up the threads, (Remove burrs, dirt etc.) and apply a drop or 2 of blue Locktight (get it at any automotive store) to the threads, tighten and let sit for 24 - 48 hrs. ;)
