199_ Diamondback Sorrento. Got it for 9 bucks. Shifters didn't work...rear brake shot...so I turned it into a singlespeed (disconnected shifters/cables, left on derailleurs for cable guides), with a front brake.

I'm making studded tires for it now...roads have been clear and dry though, haven't had snow in awhile. Been nice and cold though!

I know...I know...I gotta get the stem up a bit higher! :D

That will meake a nice ride. My stepson picked up a nice Trek MTB this summer for $6 but hes been too busy (lazy?) to fix it up.

Way to go! That's a nice looking ride for the price. I've picked up several bikes for under $20. It's a blast fixing them and riding the different styles.
