Hey guys i am looking to purchase a new indoor trainer. I have a cycleops wind trainer (very loud) that i have had for about 7 years and thought it was time to upgrade. I didnt want to spend more then 150.00. I was looking at the minoura 500 mag trainer. Is there a big difference between the mag and the wind trainer as far as resistance goes. I know the fluid is the best or that is what i have hurd. My local bike shop is selling a blackburn fluid used for about a 100.00 bucks. Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks
Chris

Thats a good deal on the fluid. My friend has one that he uses every so often and he likes it.

I sure like my Kurt Kenetic Fluid Trainer. If you can find a used one in your price range, don't let it get away.

Fluid trainer will be a lot quieter than a mag unit plus the resistance will be more like it should be.
