Introductions - Hello.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
N_C here from Sioux City, Iowa. Wife and I ride Vision R40 recumbents. I used to ride a TREK road bike until I made the switch. Hope I'm welcomed here.

What? A chair on wheels. Come back when you get a real bike.(jk):p
Welcome to our ever growing community. Anyone is welcome here even recunbents. I believe there are a few others that also ride recumbents and every one for the most part gets along although there many different opinions and the occasional heated debate.

Hi N_C. Glad you found the Introductions forum.
Hope I'm welcomed here.
Of course you're welcome here. We like anyone who rides.
Too bad you don't ride the Trek anymore. :(
Ron, The TREK was a 470 model. A great bike, I had it for about 4 or 5 years before I traded it in for the recumbent. I stopped ridig for a couple of years and gained a lot of weight. Riding hurt my back a lot when I started again. Plus it was time for me to upgrade to a better bike. So to keep riding and not be in pain I went with a recumbent. Bought it last year. Now I'm hooked. Lost some weight, And now I don't know if I'll ever go back to a upright.
Thanks for the welcome.
