Coming back from work today, the steep narrow road was blocked by a crashed car. It was a high powered little black hatchback that I know well because the woman is always driving much too fast. Previously, when I indicated for her to slow down she gave me the 2 fingered salute.
Well, she is off the road now, she crashed her car into a parked one and rolled over, ripping the whole front wheel off. Luckily no-one else was involved.
I asked passing pedestrians if it was the woman I though ,they confirmed. Apparently I wasnt the only person to notice her reckless speeding on a road 100m from a school.
As unpleasnat as it may be it seems like she go her just desserts. Its sad really, but if she is as reckless as you say she is she had it coming.

Hopefully her insurance company will now be as much of a menace to her as she was to you. :D

When I see dangerous driving, first it makes me angry, then I realize it won't be too long before that driver becomes a statistic.
It still makes me angry, nonetheless!

And justifiably so. What if someone else (i.e. an innocent human being) becomes a statistic as a result of the dangerous driving.

What scares me is that the school buses seem to be some of the worst drivers in this area. Now that Im commuting I have a lot more time to watch what vehicles are doing. Almost every day I see a school bus run red lights and stop signs, speeding thru school zones and not stopping for railroad tracks. :(

Here too. I had a school bus honk at me the other day on a windy country road. I don't know what he wanted me to do; I was right next to the guard rail, on the other side of which was a 20' drop! Guess he was just impatient and wanted to let me know. :)

There was a programme on TV the other night "UK's worst drivers" and a guy on that was in his 20's drove like a lunatic(the instructor they had to assess him got out of the car and refused to get back in) and had had 30 plus accidents.
he was proud that he drove in a way that scared his passengers and he still had a licence. :(

Yup. That sort of thing is quite common.

Well MichaelW it is good that she's off the road for a while, but don't you think it was a bit extreme for you to slice her brake hose?
