I do. My dream is not a pleasant one though. I have a recurring dream (more like a nightmare) where my front brake just wont work. I am pulling on the lever for all I am worth, and nothing happens. This problem is compounded by the fact that I am cycling downhill in a crowded city. What really freaks me out though is, why dont I use the rear brake instead ??!!?!

I suppose I do sometimes, but I can rarely (if ever) remember my dreams.

Silly question. Of course, I do, especially after 20 years of cycling. Then again, I'm usually younger and thinner in my dreams. :)

All kinds; riding, wrenching, frame building, bike store prowling. Wish I could find the bike store I keep seeing in a dream...........
I dream about cycling sometime. In one dream, I had a flat and I recall where it happened. I recall not having a pump, and a friend of mine rode by and I flagged him down and let me use his pump to pump up the tire (I wonder if that would be a phallic symbol for all those freudians?). The next time I saw him I thanked him - I told him that I hold people responsible for their actions in my dreams.

I never dream about being on a bicycle but have dreams often about being on a scooter of all things. I've never ridden a scooter in my life.
go ahead an laugh at me.. but i think the dream
means that something in your life is spinning
out of control. ie you broke up with a gf, or got
into a argument with a good friend.. and for you
bike being what is causing you to go into a near
freefall. solution may be to give biking a break
and spend time with that person or jobplace.
btw im trying to sell my mtb under for sale forums here
:p

Finished a metric century on saturday, the only problem was I was with a youth group doing it and had to ride real slow (under 10 mph) as a result I was on the bike the better part of the day. Anyway, I go to sleep that night, I dream I am on the bike cruising along and suddenly I need to slam on the breaks because I see something, so I grab the brake and wake up holding the bed post! Guess all that slow riding took it's toll on my psyche and so it had a dream about speeding! It was funny when I recovered from being jarred awake by the dream.

I dreamt of Jan Ullrich once, though I prefer Lance Armstrong.
I dreamt of Jan Ullrich twice, and he was cycling on his bike and I called out to him, then I woke up.
I had a dream about Jan Ullrich- he was riding his bike down the hall of a building, and I thought, what on earth is he doing? I've had a few other dreams about being in races, about mountain biking. Once I dreamed i was in a cyclo cross race! One dream I was in a downhill and crashed, but I wasn't hurt. One dream was particularly enjoyable- Christophe Moreau and Ivan Quaranta were walking around nude!
I had a dream last night about the £20 bike I bought. It needs a longer seat post, and I was explaining that I wasn't sure if it was currently 25mm or 25.2mm, because I couldn't find my vernier calipers.
Oh dear. I'm quite sad really. :)

Nope. Sorry. Didn't remember last night's dream either.
I had a pretty cool cyclo-cross ! dream where I was racing at the Worlds final and I beat Thomas Frischneckt....I woke up expecting to be wearing the rainbow jersey...no such luck!

I find myself "dreaming" of bikes, riding, anything related to cycling Monday through Friday between 9AM and 6PM.:(
Glad there's BikeForums to help.
