Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I just ordered a pair of Smith Bazooka Sliders with 3, count 'm 3, sets of lenses for 60 bucks. Beatsthe heck out of the 135 I was going to spend on Oakley's, and kicks the 115 I was going to spend on a Dragon Rakes pro kit. According to Smith, the Bazooka's are indestructable and the lenses are scratch resistant. I hope so!!! Anyhow, I was getting tired of getting headaches from squinting so darn much. I also threw in a Precaryous Dirt is Good t-shirt...Might as well show my colors and try to get others into MTBing.

How's that for positive? :D
Seriously though, I think Smith's rock. I have a pair of Buzzsaws. They are very tough and the lenses are good. I always wait until they are closing out a model too. Paid 50 bucks for mine. Can't go wrong for 60 bucks Fubes!

I'm positive Smith's Suck! How's that?
Just kiddding dude. I had a pair of the Buzzsaw's that I lost on my my mtn biking trips. I really liked them, and now I've got 2 sets of lenses but no glasses. I'm currently using a pair of Native Eyewears. They also have interchangable lenses and the grey lenses are polarized.
My wife also has a pair of Smith's. In fact she's got two pair of identical glasses. The old pair has a broken frame, but still holds the lense, so she uses those as her beater pair.

Man, Smiths Rule,
Especially because I won a pair from their website, Nice pair of T-Nines, Midnight Blue!!
Wore em today on riding, they are great! good optics, but they do tend to Fog as soon as you stop moving. Easily remedied, don't stop!!

So they are "bombproof" but not wife proof huh? Oh well, perfection's a pretty high standard.

I have a set of buzzsaws. They cost me like $100 CDN. They are great. My eyes are sensitive to cheap lenses and so far the lenses havent bugged me yet. Enjoy!!

Do they make them with prescription inserts?

Arent they nice?
Mine are black, not my first choice, but all Performance had.
Aerobat, I'm not sure, but I don't think so. I think the only glasses by Smith with RX inserts are the Moab HP's. Rudy Project has some "cool" shades that have RX insert ports. Alot of companies (Oakley for sure) have optometry dealers where you can get tinted RX lenses rather than having to use inserts.
I got them today, and in the box that they came in was a Performance catalog that had the same glasses for 50!!!! I got gyped out of 10 bucks!! Plus they have Pivots on sale now for 50. Oh well, the Bazooka's are cool enough. They are definetly sports glasses, there is nothing fashion about them :D My Precaryous shirt is nifty too.
