Hi everyone,

Got a road bike a few months ago, and am really enjoying it.
So far, I've done some solo rides from North Miami area to S. Beach, Key Biscayne, and Hollywood Beach. I also joined the S. Broward Wheelers and went on a 40 miler. It was awesome!!!
Well, so far I'm totally enjoying riding and am definitely interested in learning more and joining some of you on some group rides.

I really love to travel and am so excited to see how international this forum is. I'm already thinking of a European cycling trip this summer, but gotta take a hard look at my schedule first.

Anyway, thanks for the forum. Look forward to sharing common interest and obseesion with you all.

I hang out a bit in the Stuart/Palm City area with a realtive who is a full-time resident. But when I am down there, it's golf and only golf as it is too much hassle transporting a bike for a weeks visit.

BUT...I am a HUGE Miami Hurricane fan...go CANES!!!

I will be visiting the Orange Bowl in November for the Pitt game, and am considering a run to NJ to see them play Rutgers, which will be a wipe out, but fun, none the less.

Hola, Rich!!

I went for my first club ride with SBW this last weekend. They are some great folks. I am going to try to get out there this coming weekend. Maybe I'll see you. I'll be doing the intermediate on Sunday. You'll recognize me right away. I'm the really big guy on the older Specialized Sirrus Roadie.

I'm so glad I went on that ride with the SBW. They are a really nice group and I know I'll be able to get faster by riding with them.

Funny, I met another guy on his first SBW ride last weekend. I told him to check out "BikeForums". His name was "Rick", and he had a new yellow and black bike too. Raleigh though.
