Foo - Poker Thread

It is winter. It is cold. Not the best biking weather and it is too cold to fish. It is time to play cards. Any poker players here?

What is your favorite game? Mine is 7 Card Stud. I used to like to play 5-Card Stud but nobody plays that anymore. I also play Omaha-Hi for fun.

The Texas Hold 'em craze I find a little irritating but it is bringing a lot of players to the game.

I actually like texas hold'em or 7 card stud. I mainly play on my PSP but a good round the table game is always fun!

My friends and I sometimes get together for poker night. We'll go around the table switching dealers and each new dealer gets to pick a variation of poker they want to play. Our favorites are 7 card stud, Texas holdem, One-eyed Jacks wild, Pai-gow and Baseball.

I play dollar limit Texas hold 'em with some friends. They play once a week, but to preempt my tendency to hemorrhage cash, I only join in monthly. It's fun, but addicting...

Not really a card player but we played a bit of poker over Christmas week. We each had our favorite game: I like Omaha, my dad likes baseball, my sister likes Texas Hold'em.

Try playing "7-card Draw" sometime.

We dealt it by mistake, and we've been playing it ever since.
We call it "Rochester" just to be funny.
The only thing is that you can't play it with more than 3 or 4 players.
