Road Bike Racing - What are Hot Links??

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
In the movie Overcoming bonus material Riis talks about wanting Voight to make his Hot Links...or something like that....... What is he talking about??
Thanks

I'll have to look at that section again, I don't remember him say that. I do however recommend this movie it's awesome, especially the Jens bonus footage.
I think it's in he Jens feature...the guy in the passenger seat says "we should get Jens to focus on getting to our hot links" or something like that.....Riis's response is "he knows that".........if it's not there it's in the stage 13 part.........just wondered if someone knew what that meant.

Well I just watched stage 13 and I can only guess they are talking about a radio channel.

Speaking of which Ulrich has a clause in his contract this season that if he shows up to the first race over 79kg he'll get a substantial fine.

LoL...Although in the recent Cycle Sport Magazine T-Mobile did start with an early training camp, very similiar to CSC's

Yeah that's where I read it. Apparently the last time Jan started the season under 79kg was in 2003 and that year he really pushed LA in the Tour. For my money Jan's biggest asset this year will be the fact that Rudy will be allowed to inside the T-Mobile system.
