byron bay area
Mum and dad are pot smoking hippies? :D

yours maybe but mine are far from that
i also hate this reputation that byron is a big pot smoking heaven it is just like any normal town there is just a few more tourists, its just a stereotype and it is hardly true. THe flow of the town may be a little more layed back and the atmosphere at little less hectic than the city life that is not because of pot smoking it is just the laid back country ora. Byron is a totally functional town. Come here one day and find out the reality for yourself... and no you wont get the rex hunt treatment unless you disrespect the locals

i live down the road from dirtjumper101. i dont know what you have heard of byron bay but unlike dirtjumper101,i think it is the gayest place ever.full of gay hippies and tourists(japs etc).
Funny, but there must be some truth to it. It is in NSW, after all.

yeh there is some truth in the reputation but the vision of the pot smoking ghetto is far from the truth, byron is actually a pretty alright place and wheather i like or dislike the town has nothing to do with it, it is the fact that it is falsley labeled and given a bad reputation
I've never heard it referred to as a ghetto. Mostly artsy types, but lot's of money there.

i think that it is more young tourists from europe, japan, that come to byron as there base and take "the happy coach" to nimbin to buy pot. That is how it really goes, yeh sorry i got a little passionate there

Ummm.. What is a Hasselblad?
That $2000 camera (in 1970's dollars) that is seen flying through the air.
That expensive thing flying backward in the pic. A camera.

he/she shouldnt have messed with the kangaroo, they'll show you whats up.
If that 'roo rocked back on its tail and kicked, the person in the photo would probably be dead.

I live 60 miles north of you up highway 75. There are tons of trails near my house, but no tracks. The trails have lots of jumps, & plenty of hills for a good workout.
Also near my house is some abandoned property & I'm in the process of getting approval from the city & donation from the bank that owns the property (but hasn't foreclosed on it in 8 years), to build a track.
