I am going to buy the Fit Pro, and I was wondering what the first new part I should buy... What were the first upgrades you ever bought?

Get a bike with a full chromoly frame. It'll be worth it down the line

It was either that or the DK Cleveland, and I like the Fit Pro more..

why not a six pack? the cleveland is good to....those both have full chromoly frames* and thats what you should look for because its way stronger, and i think dk's have the better parts because ive checked out the fits and those have jalco rims, ive had those n there not the strongest while the dk have sun ringle

Yes, but besides that... like.. what was the first upgrade you ever bought for your bike?
it all depends on the parts...my first upgrade was a frame but thats because i got a better one for free
you cant compare the upgrades on mine to yours since there totally differnt parts

I dont have that kind of money.. I only have (at the very most..) $350 to spend.. otherwise I would totally buy one of them.
Grips and/or brake shoes are the only things that should need to be replaced right away on a new bike.

Does anyone have any experience with the Fit grips?.. The ones on the Pro.. because they seem pretty good.. but i have not tried riding with them.
Grips are like underwear. Personal preference is the rule.

And what is your preference Ex?.. and I mean for the grips.. not the underwear.. but I am hoping you would prefer boxers..
I've got the stock grips on my Backtrail X3. Everything else has ODI Lock-ons. But they're not for everyone.
