I'm also putting this in the "Bicycle Mechanics" thread...

I tried to search the forums for this info, but didn't have much luck.

Does anyone know what the thread pitch of the older Sturmey Archer axle (AW specifically) is, and if it's an odd size, is a die available to fix the threads? Any info or links would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Don't know. I checked Tony Hadland's Sturmey-Archer site, but couldn't root out the axle thread size.
Here, you may have better luck:

If you find it, please share the info. Thanks!

According to Sutherland's 3rd Edition, the AW is 13/32" x 26 tpi.

also, for anyone who cares, the hub is from a 1953 bike...if all else fails, i can swap out the internals because they won't do anything for the aesthetics of the bike.
