hi,

im getting back into bmxing again after 15 years out the sport. i have looked at bikes, spoke with guys in shops, spoke to all types of riders. everyone has there own opinion on the bikes which leaves me in limbo. everyone has the favourite completes. i wanna buy for around £350.

does it really matter that much. i think that 4130 chromolly frames and forks is a must, a 3 piece crank. apart from these 3 items what else is important.

i even asked about sraight cable or gyro but again everyoe is different.

i was thinking about wtp addict, haro mirra pro or 540, gt bestwick team.

to me these bikes are all really the same but you guys will know better.

your help and opinion is greatly appreciated. is there any other bikes that i could also look at.

thanks

kenneth

Check those for the lowest price on the bike you want. Just a warnign, you're going to get a bit of bashing from everyone on here for posting another thread about "What bike should I get?". SOI suggest deleting this thread, and searching the ofrums for your question. Then go to one of the previous places I mentioned to look at prices for the kride you picked out. POersonally I thik the best completes/teh only ones WORTH buying, are the 2 Hip Playboi, Eastern Ace Of Spades, and the Eastern Jane.

get a dk six pack. or instead of the addict get a dk four pack. i have seen the addict in the shop and for the price...i would expect more. the four pack has that 'more'!!

True, you could just go with the four pack too.. if you want dish out the cash.. its a pretty good complete.. if you want to save a bit of money, go with the six pack, or the cleveland.

Generally, when they list their budget in Pounds Sterling, it's a good indicator that they're in the UK. So US shops are no good to them.

I didn't notice that. Ooops.

Why does everyone like the Dk 4/6 packs? They're okay, but the 2 Hip Playboi and Eastern completes are way better.

I'm in the UK and have a GT Tour from www.halfords.com

It has 4130 cromoly frame, SST oryg gyro, C303 x rims, 3 pc crank, 4 pegs, airbags 2.1 tyres, 48 spoke blah blah etc and was only £200.00
