Not putting two and two together, I had the hardest time figuring our what kind of a bicycle a "Blackberry Cobbler" was and why it looked so strange in the picture. What part of the bike was that strange metal thing off to the left, and was that some kind of strange purple tire? Was that a metal grill on a bike?

BTW - a great looking bicycle.

jpee, that is one tight looking machine. How did you get it to stand still to take the picture?! Looking forward to a road report . . . or perhaps a "space travel" report!

A mean, purpose-driven machine. Nothing mean about that cobbler however...I notice the bike's paint and the cobbler match-- any connection?

What's on the derailleur side? Gotta love those D/A shifters.

JPPE - Thanks for posting the pics. That is one beautiful bike. The silhouette just reeks of speed waiting to go. I love the clean look of the downtube and BB area. Good Luck!! and keep us informed.

I apologize for the crummy picture of the blackberry cobbler but I was in a rush yesterday. It was the last of the series of the century rides and folks seemed to be in more of a hurry than the previous ones.

On the TT bike, I am very pleasantly surprised at how lightweight the bike is. I haven't weighed it but I bet if I took the aerobars off it would be very close to my carbon fiber bike. I wish I could take better photos but the downtubes, seat tubes and seat post all have the teardrop/aero shape. The wheels that came with it are some pretty good Mavics that I can use for training wheels as well.

I'm really looking forward to getting it out on our Time Trials in April to get a feel for what it will do.
