I am hoping someone out there frequents the track and would be willing to help get me started.
I have lots of interest in cycling and I really like riding fixed gear so I think it would be a natural first step for me.
I personally have never competed in cycling sports but I would like to try and get in shape for it if it works out for me.
I am not looking for a sponsor or anything like that, I'm just looking for someone who knows enough to help me learn " the ropes " of it.
Anyone out there ???

Another resource would be Fixedgearfever.com. There are 3 very active members from BP which participate. Panch0, pompy(runs floridatrackcycling.com) and MisterIncredible.

What time did you get there? We were there on saturday... check the thread in the ss/fg board. I will probably go again tomorrow, wed, and friday. PM me your phone number and I'll give you a call before I leave for the track. It's a shame that you didn't get in on the fun this weekend.

I saw 1 guy and 1 girl on the track early saturday morning. There were also a few kids doing inline skating with a trainer guy helping them out.
I was only there for like 5 minutes and took a few pics (see another thread on the track cycling forum) of the track and such.
what Time will you be @ BP tomorrow ?
I can try to make it.
