Training & Nutrition - Is there a stationary bike that fits under my desk while on the computer?

I spend many, many hours in front of my computer. I would like to be doing something physical while I'm sitting there all day and night. Do you have any recommendations on a good stationary bike that can fit underneath my desk? I can't use it at the office, but it would work perfectly at home. Thanks!

mac,
the problem I have is knee clearance. my knees come up so high on my recumbant stationary, they they interfere with my keyboard tray. if i'm playing limit poker (or another mouse only activity), i just push my keyboard tray in as far as it goes and bring my stationary as close as I can. this works fine, if i need my keyboard, it's on my desk beside me, but it's not ergonomic at all and can't be used on a prolonged basis. i need to design a keyboard tray that is stand-alone, similar to a hospital food tray that rolls independently of the bed and positions directly in front of the patient. however, my 'food tray' needs a slope on it (adjustable, of course).
also note, a trackball works better than a mouse because of slight upper body movement while spinning.
good luck with your solution.

SimCycle (http://www.longlifeclub.com/article.php?aid=151)

This clever device is actually a set of heavy-duty bicycle pedals that hooks up to your computer. For straightforward exercise, the $109 SimCycle attaches to the serial port of your Windows-based computer and interfaces with the Eloton Theatre, a software package that displays seven bicycle routes through video-realistic countryside.

The faster you pedal, the faster you progress through the scenery. The workout software tells you when to crank up the tension on the SimCycle for sprints to get the old ticker pumping.

Yeah... I was looking for something like that, albeit not computer-related. The design is fine and it looks like it would fit under my desk. I'd just push it out further so my knees don't come up so high. I don't need a virtual bicycle game, just a fitness device I can pedal while I'm doing other things.

why don't you try one of those mini exercise bikes, these types are the ones that only have pedals on them. you use them while sitting on a chair. heck, you can even use them while your on a computer. why don't you consider buying used stationary bikes (http://www.dogengine.com/us/used-stationary-bikes.php) instead so that it would also fit your budget and not just your desk ;)

they look like this:

You can also look at ways of bringing the computer to your exercise bike, as opposed to the other way around. Might be easier to rig up something for mounting a flat screen monitor and wireless keyboard and mouse.
