Mountain Biking - Soma Juice 29er (Dial up killer)

So I finally got all my parts for my build (even a few extras). Before the pictures though, I'd just like to say it rides like nothing I've ridden before. I love it. I have been a but wary of the big wheels taco-ing, because I've been known to brake wheels but the two rides I've been on so far have been nothing but fantastic. I have a 32-18 gearing and it is phenomenal. Those are borrowed tires, ritchey zed's, but they have been pretty amazing too. Great in the hardpack and don't hold mud at all it seems. My brakes are still braking in, but I already know they are amazing, I got crazy lucky with my chainline, though that woodman rear hub is adjustable. It has like a 1" cassette and comes with three spacers and a 14t and a 16t cog. The 18t DX I ordered looks and fits just like the ones they provided. The hubs are heavy though, I was surprised, but the engagement is to die for. There is pretty much zero play in the freehub body. The rear hub came smoother than butter, but the front came a bit notchy. The front atleast has joytech bearings, and have since smoothed out. The salsa delgado's are handlying the dirt just as everyone says they do, great. Oh and that's the midnight silver color. Pretty purple if you ask me, but it grew on me and now I think it's 100% BA. Dear Alcahueteria,
It is a nice bike. I noticed that the frame was originally went for gears. But hey, that does not matter.

How did you get the disc breaks on? Did you weld it on? Because the frame of the bike does not look like it originally was meant for disc breaks. No?

Why no suspension on the fork?

You’re going to really fell the bumps when mountain bike riding.

No suspension...well it was cheaper that way, but the simplicity is nice too. It should also work fantastically if I ever decide to put some road slicks on it. The frame is meant for discs. There are two versions, this is the disc specific one.

nice bike! how does it sound through the amplifier?

What made you choose WOOdman hubs?? I didn't think anyone really cared much for their stuff. I have them on my bike by default because of the rear disc adapter I use.

are you going to put a REBA fork on in the future? I found some on ebay for not too bad a price

I'm usually not one for 29ers but I can dig this one. I suppose it appeals to me from the 'cross side of things

I have seen some pretty cheap 29er forks on ebay, but that's not in the budget right now. I'm really pleased with the ride too, it handles amazingly. I like that if I want I can put some slicks on it and throw one of the smaller cogs that came with the hub, on it and make it a street cruiser. I really like the geometry, and it just seems the possibilities are endless. geared, ss, road, mtb, rigid or not, 700x18 or 29x2.3's. Though I was hoping to not get the disc specific, this was the first I could get my hands on. oh well. I hadn't heard bad things about the woodman stuff, and I wanted SS-specific and this ended up being the cheapest option for me. Oh and I wanted something with cartridge sealed bearings.

I love my woodman hub(front) on my street bike. Ive been riding it hard for a few months now and its as smooth as the day i bought it. By the way that 29er rocks!
