I searched the forum and came up with two contradictive answers. Im looking to buy the MX Comp as ive heard alot of people say theyre a great fork for the money, but keeping my V-brakes is essential to me. My question is if the MX comp comes with EVERYTHING needed to be V-brake compatible. I know the fork has holes that can accept POSTS to install v-brake studs. But every site I look at doesnt seem to show these.

The posts Im talking about are the pieces that give you the tiny hole where the spring tensioner sits, so without this the spring inside the v-brake has nothing to grab onto, and there is no where to screw in the studs the v-brakes slide over. Heres a picture to explain: (posts circled)

one post said that the MX comp was definetely compatible, another post said that someone was assemlbing a bike with an MX comp and was MISSING the post. So im wondering if anyone has bought an MX comp and if it came with all the parts ill need., id hate to buy a fork and then need to go back to work and do a QBP order to get those posts, if i can even buy them.

thanks in advance

If the description says "disc only" that means no bosses:p

On the MX series, the bosses include the part with the tiny holes for your spring return adjustment - and they come with the fork.

The first picture shows exactly what you get when you order an MX Comp. The orange/red pieces are the screw-in parts and have the 3 tiny hole thingy as part of the boss (which really should be shown in red as well, since they are all part of the boss).
