Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Anybody know when the Giro d'Italia (sp?) starts? Any good web refs for coverage?

Bob,
The Giro runs 5/19-6/10. This site:
http://www.professional-cycling.com/
has links to several others. One, of them, cyclebase, has a calendar, and others probably do as well. Another, cyclingnews, gives updates every few minutes so you can follow what is going on. Also, you can see about TV coverage on Outdoor Live Network at olntv.com
For instance, OLN will have live coverage of the Giro daily at 9:30 AM Eastern (US) Time and taped coverage every evening at 9:00.
Here is some other stuff coming up on OLN the next few weeks. They have cycling every Thursday evening this time of year.

I just remembered that velonews.com has a calendar and an even more detailed TV listing of cycling on OLN than OLN's own site!
