Buddy Hayden is a total wild man. This dude broke all convention and called me from clear across the planet on the phone!!! How cool is that!

I spent a year in Australia, in Brisbane, north of where Buddy lives, in Melbourne. This guy is a wild man!!!

Very cool! I'm impressed! I don't even think my two cans and my long line of string would reach Pete nor Buddy's whereabouts! (My neck of woods seems to be technological difficient.) I did hear about some newly-made contraption called the telephone just bein' the newest technology in my parts! :D

Yeah, I remember when I was in junior high, I was out of the country, and it took about 3 weeks for the mail from the US to come into town. By that time, it was old news! I could've used that darn Internet thing-a-ma-jigger back then! ;)
