My wife asked, "What did you do with the $$$ from selling your two bikes?"

I looked at her and said, "Honey, now really!"

She then replied, "What color is it?"

My wife's great!

She did know you were speaking of a bike and not some dog from Hawaii, right?:p

When we all get our new bikes we should start a new thread, "Our New Bikes, are ya jealous?"

Seems as though alot of riders are getting new rides.

I'm envious. Your new bike is being shipped. Mine is on a ship, and likely to be there for awhile.

That's right. I've got a '93 Bianchi Axis cyclocross bike sitting in Long Beach Harbor. The longshoremen who are supposed to unload it were on strike. Pres. Bush ordered them back to work.

They're apparently back at work now, but in addition to having quite a backload of cargo to unload, they may not be working quite as quickly as they might if they had agreed to a contract.

*sigh*

So I'm waiting impatiently. It's apparently affecting a lot of bike shops in the area, who are awaiting the arrival of their 2003 inventory. My LBS's buyer said their were twenty *container loads* from Specialized alone, all sitting out in the harbor.
