How do you properly measure seat post lengths?
From the bottom to the middle of the clamp part?
From the bottom to the top of the clamp part?
Just the post?
Tell me true!

the nitto NJS posts are measured from the bottom to the part where the rails of the saddle sit. I'm guessing this may be one of those things that varies from one mfg to another

I've got an SR post that was advertised as 250mm, and it measures barely 250mm from end to end counting the bolt on top.

Hmmm, so it does differ by mfg.
What about Campy or Dura-Ace?
Anyone know?

supposed to be from bottom to rail. Just order a long post (400mm) and cut that biatch down.
