I have been looking over the past posts and there are a LOT about cold hands. I have spent lots of $ trying to get gloves that keep my hands warm. What ususally ends up happening is my hands get too warm, sweat just a bit, then get cold. I have wind-proof, wet-proof, breathable, but it still happens. Or when the temps really dip, my fingertips get cold not matter what.
My Bike Guy gave me a pair of Pogies for Christmas and they are PERFECT. These are also known as Moose Mitts or Bullwinkles. They go over the bars and can be used without gloves. They are wind/water proof. You can also insert the chemical heat packs. They are highly recommended for riders competing in the Susitna 100. Anyone else use these? Here are a few links:
