Mountain Biking - Bay area riders

Im just curious if anyone around the bay area is down for a ride? daly city/ssf/pacifica area. Siu Blue Wind, me and my friend are in on it so far. Anyone up for it?

Nobody? I'm sure there are more than two of us in the Bay Area.....

I said daly city/ssf/pacifica. But if your anywhere else and you can get down too pacifica(where the trail is) than your welcome to come.

Well Its not going to be this weekened, we haven't decided when. My bike is still waiting on a new crank to come in the mail. So I don't know if we'll do within the next few weekends. Were just seeing if anyone is in on it sometime in the future.

Or for those of us who want to start off tame, maybe we can do a nice trail somewhere more between us? (Contra Costa) We can always look up trails. NoF3ar, you scared me with that video ;) . :D

im from the the bay area (fairfield), but i cant get out to daly city that easily. im riding this weekend and i got finals next week. nest time you go i might be able to come though.

im in south san jose .. .down by the almaden quicksilver trails

i'm here in berekeley, work in SF. i only have wednesdays and thursdays off, though. sometimes i get sundays, but i have no veeeehicle. so someone would have to give me a ride. i'd definitely be down for a ride at pacifica.

Well, NoF3ar, it looks like maybe we might be able to do this, afterall. We can discuss a date and time, A PLACE, and we can post it for those who might want to come last minute. It probably won't happen for a couple of weeks, though. NoF3ar, will you arrange it with everyone? :) Please??? And it doesn't have to be on a weekend, if that is too hard. (I work weekends too). But I could try to manage some time off.

Im going to wait on my new xt crank, ask my buddy when he doesn't have tons of homework and figure something out.. Ill prolly post the time and place in a few weeks in this thread. So everyone just think about being ready within the next few weeks.

I'm a relative noob (to the forums) but i'm always game for more people to ride with and more places to ride, once i finish up my 29er that is. It will be all built in a few more weeks, so if you make this a regular thing I'm interested.

Ah! I understand. That IS cool! Yeah Raiyn is pretty helpful. I like him too. There's a lot of guys (and ladies) who know their stuff. I just hate it when you get slammed because you DON'T know something. After all, that is why we are on BF, isn't it?

I generally don't slam people for not knowing something. (It has to be an obvious thing)
I do however get annoyed at those who pretend they know what they're talking about when they haven't got a clue.
I'm really easy to get along with once you understand how I operate as I'm sure NoF3ar will attest to

The only bit of advice with raiyn is, don't argue with him. Whether hes right or wrong, he'll convince everyone hes right(most of the time he is anyways)
