Very uneventful, just posting it for fun.
Jan 12, 2006 Left turn from Bike Lane (http://www.optionnz.com/users/afs/060112-0717blleft.avi)
A few notes
-I chose to ride in the BL (although left biased), not on the white line per discussion with patc. It made sense in this case as traffic was moderately dense.
-I was sticking my arm out and looking back and you can see a driver (light grey sedan) who chose not to let me it. I signaled (and turned head a few times) for merge a bit before I started riding on the white line.
No big deal as the following car did (an SUV who moved one lane left when I merge into right lane, you can see it as the 2nd car passing me on my right when I am in the right turn lane). Both cars slowed and created a gap for me. Traffic slowed a bit around the intersection making the merge easier. Speed limit before intersection goes from 45mph to 35mph due to active school zone.
Overall it worked very smoothly.
