Thats one way to leave your bike outside safely. I wonder how they got that perfect cubic shape.(the form would have to wrap around each spoke, seatpost, etc.)

nope. Not a touch of photoshop involved. It is in the window of a store in the meatpacking district...a block or two south of W13th Street

i agree with rikardi that it would be difficult to get that perfect shape, must have taken a lot of work to get the form built... but it's not like it's THAT hard. i.e. no reason to go crying photoshop, especially to someone who says he took the picture himself. i think anyone who had enough time, a bike, and cement could do the same thing... and who has more time and random stuff than artists.

naw that's just art...has photoshop taken the place of suspended disbelief, i.e., imagination these days?

My guess...they formed the concrete first. then let the bike parts into the block. Its just too hard to form around the bits without the form blowing out.

That's what happens to mafia bicycles that don't keep their secrets.

Is that concrete or another product painted to look like concrete?
