Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - sorting out chainline

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Currently the front chainline is 46 mm, the rear is 50. I don't want to respace the hub as it is now symmetrical. Could I use spacers between the crankarm and the chainring?

yes
Same sorta thing with me...just got low-flange dura-ace hub+chainline doesnt line up straight. It aint to bad just alota noise coming from the chain catching but it's not falling off or anything. Im running miche primato cranks so i cant put the chainring on the opposite side+since iv a track frame there's no space for hub adjustment. The only ting i can ting of is iv a really crappy chain(might be one of those small width ones) if i changed to a 1/8th izumi jobs might that fix the problem??
the obvious solution - different bottom bracket.
