It's not bad, but I'd try to get a bit better contrast on the left side. The sun is washing out the text. (I know... easier said than done.) Likewise at "Clones" at the bottom right.
I'm basically neutral toward it. A few people do it, and it's cool. If everyone starts doing it, it might get a bit annoying.

It's been said above, but the text is really hard to read in parts. Why didn't you like just the text?
Also I never got the 'my life in a quote' part.. is it innuendo? did you just think it was a cute quote? is it related to where you live? etc

The phrase I find is a symbolism of my life, and all the facets of the identity and strugles to find myself. In a way the statement could be condoned as an innuendo,
My life is like sand, a bunch of particles is the story of myself, rough, hard, course, dead. Sand is colorless, densionless and gets everywhere. My life is moving to something of definition, color, smoothness, just like padame in the movie.
