http://www.harobikes.com/atb/threadeight.php hey i was looking for a bike i can jump, but it also needs to have good gears, and have good disc brakes, cause i need to stop on a dime, i really like this but i would prefer to have a dual suspension, if any one knows a good dual supension that will take a beating and is under $880 let me know (yes i do relize the theard 8 is a hard tail)

While it's purely opinion, it'd be very hard to find a good, tough dual suspension under $880 unless it's used. A relatively good, tough hardtail could be had new for that price without too much effort. Check Ebay, Mtbr's classifieds, and maybe Craigslist.org for used bikes to get a feel for what you could get used.
I must say I find the components on the Haro Thread Eight sorely lacking (the fork, crank, and brakes in specific; edit: I should say, if it wasn't all three of those, it wouldn't be as annoying), but I don't know its retail price. If you can get a good deal on a Kona Cowan or Stuff they'd probably work for you. They do make sacrifices in certain areas, but they can be upgraded later once you break something. Also look at the Specialized P.1 or P.2 Cr-Mo; it makes similar sacrifices to the Kona. I'm sure more recommendations will follow...

Thoughs won't be the brakes that you would want. If you want to stop on a dime you might want to find some higher than MX series. They are all Mechanical.
