I spend some bucks on my biking hobby, but at least I'm not an out of control NASCAR junkie. I have a friend who goes to 15-20 big NASCAR races a year. He estimates it costs him $500 a weekend for tickets, driving expenses, hotel, meals, etc. And he's not getting any exercise, sitting in the grandstand all weeking guzzling Bud and eating tube steaks (hot dawgs).
