Can anyone tell me anything about this bike I got today? It is a Fuji Sagres road bike that I think is early to mid 80s. Owner said it was 20 years old and cost $280 new.

S/N is SC529327

Fuji VALite 178 Triple-Butted tubing (lugged)
Fuji VALite crowned fork
Suntour AR derailleurs
6 speed rear
Sugino crank has two rings, but appears to be drilled and threaded for a third ring
Nitto stem and handlebar
Dia Compe sidepull brakes
Suicide brake levers
Suntour stem-mounted friction shifters
Ukai 27" rims on Sansin hubs
semi-vertical rear dropouts

I'm thinking of converting it to a SS, but the gears work well, so I may just fix it up and ride it. Any info would be appreciated. - Thanks
