I want to make a fixed gear/single speed bike.
i need your help. i have a road bike frame a trek 370 with vertical dropouts. what am i able to do?

i did. i've read those pages a million times. i've spent months researching this before i even posted here.

i dont quite understand all this business: vertical dropouts=flip flop hub
i am just looking for a little guidence here.

then the answer is yes, you can use them. It might be a little tricky, but the white industries hub will make things a lot easier for you. The hardpart about the vertical drop outs is getting proper chain tension. http://sheldonbrown.com/fixed-conversion.html#vertical explains it pretty clearly.

a flip flop hub is just a hub that is threaded for a cog+lockring on one side, and a bmx freewheel cog on the other. It's not specific to frames with vertical drop outs.
