Winter Cycling - Still, no snow no ice......

Not even really cold. About 36 F, but a nice day. Very still, the water was like glass. Very quiet too. Kind of a gray sky that seems to happen more often in winter. A nice boost of speed from not using the studded tires today. It still feels like I should be riding on ice and snow. I guess once you set your mind for that you expect it. The salt water ice on top of some of the big rocks but not on the beach was interesting.

was weird to ride yesterday morning at 25 degrees, then today same time it was 60!... all the snow we had on the ground is all gone now.. mixed emotions about it.. since i'm in only 2nd week back riding since breaking fibula its a good thing.. less risk while the bone heals(12th week)... but I miss the snow big time.. if it could just stay in the low 30s even.. and keep a nice base of snow on the ground.. it would be much nicer!.. startin to feel like its time to put the snow blower away and tune up the lawn mower...

You're right! I think I'll do that tonight!.. thanks on the fib.. was a tough 10 weeks off the bike... I'm takin it easy doin 30 minute easy rides a few times a week..
