Framebuilders - 16 inch wheel track bike!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hi, sorry to drop in on this forum. I'm collecting parts to build my new son a track bike. I live in san francisco, and was thinking of contacting a local frame builder to do a frame and fork for us. Then wanted to see if anyone on here was interested in taking on a small project like this? I found 16in velocity arrowheat rims, 16X1 1/8 tires, think I found some 123 lenth cranks. this is going to be a challange, but i know it's possible. a custom set of drop bars would be so cool too! any hope of this happening? thanks for your insite! mike

I'm curious, is this for a shorter person, or are you from the Moulton school of thought (small wheels are cool)?
