Hey, i'm new to track bikes and I am wanting the feel of a fixed-gear and real TRACK GEOMETRY. Is this bike a true track bike, or a striped road bike??

I think you also need to be clear about what you consider as 'track geometry'. A sprint frame is very different from a motorpaced racing frame which is different from a six-day frame etc. Some frames are also designed for certain tracks such as the very steep banking in LA or Manchester.

Its a little nit-picky, but a lot depends on the size of the frame, the builder, fork rake/trail, the material and the intended use. You can use rules of thumbs about looking for around 74 deg head tube and seat tube angles etc.

However if you're really concerned about having a bike with 'track geometry', go speak to the instructors and racers and your local velodrome and see what they suggest.

I would consider the Windsor a cheap but usable frame (maybe a little too slack for some on the track) built with very budget components.

As Trespasser says this bike has been discussed to death on the fixed/single speed board. Lots of v. useful info there.

Rides great and has the same crankset and cog as the Bianchi Pista ... =)

I know I went cheap when I got the FujiTrackPro NOS 2003, but what would you say about it's geometry(these are for the 56/57 and I have the 61)?

When I win the lottery and am able to buy a frame off you, what suggestions would you make for a PURE sprinter frame....to lazy for those long rides. :D

75 - 76 degrees at the front? wow... are this guys compensating ro something like that because the seat tube is more like a road bike?? htat colnago is compact geom??
