Hi Everyone,
I'm an older bent woman from Ohio. Obsessed with biking. Not a fast rider by any means. Usually average around 12. Use to ride the road a lot, but have lost all my riding companions and we have a new trail, so have been riding it mostly.:)

There are no older members here. ;) Cycling keeps us young.

Have you checked with your LBS or local cycling clubs to find new riding companions or joined any group rides. They can be a lot of fun. :)

WELCOME!

I left Ohio about 5 years ago. Great place to bike. Nice trail that goes from Cincy to Yellow Springs. Be sure to stop in YS at Carols Kitchen and get some very tasty health food.

I saw a bent last Sunday. I'd really like to try one out sometime.

Welcome to the Forum fellow Ohioan!

I live in the northeastern part of the state (Cleveland area) and we have great cycling here. Keep on riding and check out any local rides/clubs and you are sure to meet some new riding buddies. Have a good winter and get ready for spring rides.

:) Hi! Just read your post. Sounds like you could be me.......except I don't have a new trail. Lucky you.

I think I've got rider burn-out this year. Hope to be back in the saddle again next spring. I'm not a winter rider. My recumbent is hard to handle on wet surfaces...... and loose stone. I'm in Northwest Ohio and we just got our first snow flurry this morning.

Welcome to the Bike Forums. You find out everything you ever wanted to know about biking and then some! ;)
