I inquired the store owner the scoop on these New Old Stock frames and here's what I got:
(c) 1980
British Falcon Bicycle Frame NOS. " Guaranteed Built with Reynolds
**531** fork blades, stays & butted frame tubes.
Manufactured by Reynolds Limited Birmingham, England" Campagnolo drop
outs, 21" -24" Available , Red, Blue, Silver, Green, Designed by Ernie
Clements,
San Remo model, touring, fender and water bottle braze-ons. $200.00
My question is, do you folks think I should go for it? I'm new to the cycling thing but, like my DIY Audio/Stereo hobby I have a hard time NOT building things from scratch (I'm a tinkerer!)... so I thought this could be a neat winter project. I just want to make sure these are "quality" frames...
Nuff said,
Thank for all of your replies.
