Bicycle Mechanics - Help me isolate mysterious road buzz!

I have a new carbon '05 Scott CR1 Pro that I bought on close-out and it's a super bike so far but there is some weird buzz that I hear occasionally emanating from the front of the bike.

I retightened the brifter clamps, checked for loose spokes, and even put a mini shim against the valve stem to keep it from moving and I still a little buzz from somewhere. I bounced the front end off the ground and I'm sure the headset is tight.

It's almost like a tuning fork "frequency vibration"- It's not there all of the time but it's a annoying all of the same. Help? :(

Found the culprit: The Shimano c ables were rattling against each other, a problem I didn' have with Campy since their cables come straight back out of the brifter housing whereas ****manos come out in the inside. :rolleyes:
Solution: Foam adhesive strips wrapped around where the cables touch each other.

Amen, brother. I once had a rattle that sounded to me like my chain was trying to change gears in the back. I must have messed with the cable tension 4 or 5 times before I figured out that the noise was my car keys rattling in a pocket.

Can you guys help me isolate about 7 buzzes and rattles in my '90 volvo?

I thought my chain needed lube but it was birds chirping.

Later that year, I was riding indoors and thought my chain was squeaking but it turned out to be my pet bird chirping.
