Hi everyone,

I've been lurking around here for a while but I figured I should just register and introduce myself. I'm 22 and live and work in the Boston area. I lived in Providence for four years and started biking a lot then, as it was (and is) the best and fastest way to get around town.

I have three and a half bikes now:

1) A late 1970s stainless steel mixte frame Kabuki that used to be my mom's. Kabuki bikes were made by Bridgestone. It's super, super heavy and built like a tank. I use it for commuting.

2) Bianchi Eros. It's nice. I need to get it fit soon, because I feel kind of unnecessarily stretched out on it. The Boston suburbs have some really nice roads and scenery.

3) Jamis Dakota XC. It's tough! It's small! Also, given I'm 5'1" it was a pain to find a mountain bike frame small enough - they made a 13".

4) The half bike is a new 44cm Indy Fab cyclocross frame I got recently, for a very good price. I need to wait awhile before I have enough money to build it up... and I still drool everytime I look at it.

Okay! That's about it. I'd just like to say that I've loved reading these forums - everyone seems really nice and supportive of one another.

Welcome! You seem to have quite a few bikes for somebody who is 22! I do hope that you enjoy yourself here.
