Hi, just found this forum, thought I'd join in and say hi and maybe meet a few people.

I live and play in Pollock Pines, CA, about 50 miles east of Sacramento.

I ride in the same area, around Sly Park Res, local fire-roads, Salmon Falls, Clementine Loop, we did Mr. Toads Wild ride a few weeks back. Always looking for more rides in the area.

I ride a 3 year old Ventana Marble Peak, FS. Predominately XC Componets. Serves me well, but needs a little loving care in the drivetrain...

Anyone from the same area??? Anyone read these intro threads???

There are a few Sacto people on the board. Although I have never met up with anyone. My current roommate used to live up by you in Rescue.

I am a roadie now, but used to ride salmon falls and a bunch of trails up in your area.

I commute to work (17 miles), but my training has moved indoors, so I am not out much anymore.

I grew up in El Dorado Hills and got my start in the hills around there. What a great place to ride. I would ride Salmon Falls road to train, and would see maybe 20 cars on the whole ride. Every time I go back the growth just amazes me.
