I have a really huge right leg and a smaller left leg. It is especially noticeable at the lateral quads and hip flexors. I am wondering how common this is, whether this is in the range of normal, or should i go for physio. I realize that it could be several things like leg length discrepancy, or restriction at a joint in the pelvic girdle/back, But I was wondering whether this would really make a difference in performance. I always imagine that I am like a V8 firing on only 4 cylinders. I know it is not because the muscles are weaker intrinsically, bc the left leg is not any more tired than the right leg after a work out.

Everyone has a dominant side, and a dominant leg. My right leg is also larger. (Although measuring with a tape shows no difference in total circumfrence) But I always lead off with my right leg, and doing one legged drills on the trainer are a lot more comfortable with the right leg. (So I do them a lot more with the left!)

Anyway, I think it's normal. Either that, or you and I are the only grotesque mutants with this problem.
